Proper Breathing for Healing

Looking for a concise yet proper guide to breathing for healing?  There are many experts in their respective fields who have offered excellent instructions for deep breathing and breathing for relaxation, but today the focus is on proper breathing for healing. Personal experience has proven to me that this process can work. As with anything that affects our well-being, mental awareness and consciousness of the present moment are key components to the amount of success one will achieve. "My understanding about breathing and healing is this: Breathe in through your nose and breathe out very slowly through your mouth.  Feel the energy travel through your nose, go up to your crown chakra, to your neck, to your spine, and spread out through your body. Imagine - breathe in light and breathe out energy that doesn’t belong to your true self.  Consciously release stress; feel the tension on your back and shoulders getting lighter and lighter through each inhalation and exhalation....

Embrace the barriers

"Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it, and embrace them." ~ Rumi Rumi, who lived hundreds of years ago, was wise enough to realize that we must love ourselves before we can be loved by others. To embrace the barriers we have built to protect us from the potential pain of loving someone, means that we accept those barriers, forgive ourselves for building the barriers in the first place, and then proceed to tear down the barriers. While we may not claim to be members of the same religious organization as Rumi, one cannot deny the universal threads in his writings.  15 Powerful Rumi Quotes at WomansDay.com/

▶ Change the way you see yourself

Change the way you see yourself, which will change the way you think, which can change your life.  Dr. Wayne Dyer was one of the most inspirational speakers I have ever had the privilege of listening to. Amazingly, we live during a time when we can still hear his voice and watch his videos as well as read his books. This is a particularly interesting program he did for PBS where he explains the life changes he made at 65 years old. It's never too late.  Dr. Wayne Dyer on PBS  provided by Mind Power Boost on YouTube.
