About Me

When I first chose this domain name, Surviving the Circus, life was unsettled at best. Since then, I have discovered that Surviving is nice, but Thriving is better. In my third phase of life, I've been learning to say no, let small things go, and expect good things. Now, as a seasoned crone and senior citizen, I am manifesting & co-creating the life I deserve, because we ALL deserve it, for our highest good!

This liberal baby boomer is happy to be here!

So grateful for being alive in this age of technical and medical marvels... if only everyone could have access.

I've always had a blog or two, but now I'm taking it more seriously.

Born and raised in SC, I now live with one of my daughters on the west coast. Meanwhile, my youngest daughter is on the east coast, and I need to spend time with both of them. I have a grown grandson, and a newborn grandson, and life is good. 

I don't want to miss a minute of it!

Ghost Proof Your Home

Halloween is around the corner and October in general is a month when strange happenings occur. I hear many tales of unexplained phenomena such as lights going on and off, knocks on the door when no one is there and sometimes just a "feeling" that someone is watching you. Is there any particular reason that spirits are more active in October? None that I can think of, except that it has been believed to be this way for centuries. However, those who know more about the cosmos, the star alignments and geomagnetic pulls may have some valid reasons why October is the bewitching month. Ghostly superstitions and beliefs exist in all cultures, and today I found a nice image that shows ways to ghost proof your home. Support Term Limits for Supreme Court Justices

The following is a letter I have sent through automation to write my Representatives encouraging them to support term limits for Supreme Court Justices. Feel free to copy and paste the following letter that I rewrote from the previously formatted letter that will appear in the link provided at the bottom of this article. Or, use their letter.
