Iraq War Protests

Not too sure why protestors would choose to block the entrance to the IRS offices in Washington, DC, but they got arrested.

Seems like people would be protesting the IRS if they are positioned at the IRS building.

All that logic aside, I don't understand the logic of protesting the war at any location.

Protesting the war translates to me that you don't care about the hundreds of thousands of lives that have been saved because we took Sadam Hussein down.

Protesting the war means that you have no compassion for the thousands of young girls who were ripped from their homes to satisfy the sexual fantasies of Sadam's sons and their armies.

Protesting the war meas that you don't think we need to make our presence known in order to deter additional radical terrorists groups from even thinking about attacking us on our own soil.

Protesting the war tells me that you are ignorant, living in a fairy tale world that doesn't understand the evil that lurks beyond our shores.

Tampon Tim

So now they're calling him "tampon tim." Meanwhile, we're loving the publicity showcasing the magnificence that is Tim Walz. Gov. Tim Walz’s administration ensured that menstruation products are provided freely in Minnesota's public school bathrooms. "This move is crucial for students who might experience their first periods unexpectedly or who cannot afford products at home. According to a 2019 study by Plan International USA, 1 in 5 girls in the U.S. has missed school because of lack of access to menstrual products." Walz also removed the tampon tax in Minnesota, proudly making it one of the few states to acknowledge the absurdity of taxing our essential health products. These are the kinds of actions that prove a politician cares about his or her constituents, and is concerned about the poorest among them. Ghost Proof Your Home

Halloween is around the corner and October in general is a month when strange happenings occur. I hear many tales of unexplained phenomena such as lights going on and off, knocks on the door when no one is there and sometimes just a "feeling" that someone is watching you. Is there any particular reason that spirits are more active in October? None that I can think of, except that it has been believed to be this way for centuries. However, those who know more about the cosmos, the star alignments and geomagnetic pulls may have some valid reasons why October is the bewitching month. Ghostly superstitions and beliefs exist in all cultures, and today I found a nice image that shows ways to ghost proof your home.
