Ultimate Tea Diet

Wulong Tea or oolong tea - have you heard of it?

Apparently I'm out of the loop on this one, but supposedly it can help you lose weight. It's been covered on Good Morning America and other TV shows, but I missed it.

According to Angela Chang at ColonZone.com, who suggests you start with 7 to 10 cups of this healthy tea per week, studies have shown that WuLong tea can help:

- Diabetes
- Acne and Eczema
- Allergies
- Infections
- Cavities
- Weight Gain and Obesity
- Reducing the effects of smoking
- Increasing metabolism
- Helping digestion
- Reduce risk of heart disease

According to Gary Gause of
DragonWaterTea.com,
A study was conducted by the University of Tokushima School of Medicine along with several other Japanese universities involving 11 Japanese women who consumed either water, green matcha tea, or oolong tea after a meal. Oolong tea appeared to increase energy expenditure by 10%, green tea by 4%, and water not at all.

So while green tea is still best for fighting cancer, it does seem that oolong tea can help us lose weight.

Obviously you need to eat healthy and exercise, there is no magic pill or tea that works all by itself! (If only there was!)

Luckily, I've found a place that sells Formosa Oolong tea (also known as Wulong tea) along with many other healthy teas and things... right here.

There's also a book: "The Ultimate Tea Diet"
How Tea Can Boost Your Metabolism, Shrink Your Appetite, and Kick-Start Remarkable Weight Loss, By Mark Ukra, who was on ABC's "The View" today. You can visit his website here.

Tampon Tim

So now they're calling him "tampon tim."  Meanwhile, we're loving the publicity showcasing the magnificence that is Tim Walz.  Gov. Tim Walz’s administration ensured that menstruation products are provided freely in Minnesota's public school bathrooms.  "This move is crucial for students who might experience their first periods unexpectedly or who cannot afford products at home. According to a 2019 study by Plan International USA, 1 in 5 girls in the U.S. has missed school because of lack of access to menstrual products." Walz also removed the tampon tax in Minnesota, proudly making it one of the few states to acknowledge the absurdity of taxing our essential health products. These are the kinds of actions that prove a politician cares about his or her constituents, and is concerned about the poorest among them.  Bravo! #HarrisWalz2024  https://www.msnbc.com/opinion/msnbc-opinion/...

Ghost Proof Your Home

Halloween is around the corner and October in general is a month when strange happenings occur. I hear many tales of unexplained phenomena such as lights going on and off, knocks on the door when no one is there and sometimes just a "feeling" that someone is watching you. Is there any particular reason that spirits are more active in October? None that I can think of, except that it has been believed to be this way for centuries. However, those who know more about the cosmos, the star alignments and geomagnetic pulls may have some valid reasons why October is the bewitching month. Ghostly superstitions and beliefs exist in all cultures, and today I found a nice image that shows ways to ghost proof your home. The traditions come from many different cultures and are easy to do, except for the Kaballah thing. Click on the image to view it enlarged at the original source. Support Term Limits for Supreme Court Justices

The following is a letter I have sent through automation to write my Representatives encouraging them to support term limits for Supreme Court Justices. Feel free to copy and paste the following letter that I rewrote from the previously formatted letter that will appear in the link provided at the bottom of this article. Or, use their letter. Or, better yet, rewrite it for yourself as I have done.  When you go to the link, your representatives will automatically appear when you enter your address.  This is such a simple way to contact your representatives in Washington, D.C.  Topic - government reform or judicial Letter: Thank you for your service to our country as a representative of the people. Integrity still matters to most people. Unfortunately, we are living in an era where we can no longer depend on one's conscience to dictate or control individual actions. I, and the majority of Americans, have lost faith in the Supreme Court’s ability to act as a neutral arbiter ...
