Death by Stoning

Iran is still executing those found guilty of adultery and other sex crimes.

Death is by stoning.

Men are buried up to their waists.

Women are buried up to their chests.

Then the stoning begins.

The first stones thrown are not to be large enough to kill immediately.

Torture - that's what is happening here.

Currently, there are eight women and one man who have been sentenced to death.

The women are accused of adultery, prostitution and incest. I can't help but wonder if these charges are true, or if they are twisted to protect the men. The women range in age from 27 to 43.

The man is a 50 year old music teacher who had relations with a student.

Maybe we should sentence our pediphiles to life in Iran.

  1. One word -- damn!

It doesn't matter how many times I read about stoning in Iran, it still seems amazingly barbaric.

    Bad scene over there...

  2. This looks very bad. There are still human being willing to do those cruel things with this kind of severe punishment law existing. They must be out of their mind or just too dare to die.

  4. yes, very good point about the pedophiles.

seems like I remember a case in Iran, Afganistan or someplace like that where a woman was gang raped by a group of men and yet she was considered the "guilty" one. So I have no doubt if that woman in Iran was convicted of "incest" it was probably at the hands of one of her male relatives and he got off and she was the one left to pay. victimizing the victim.

But what can one really expect from societies where women are still considered property?

Tampon Tim

So now they're calling him "tampon tim."  Meanwhile, we're loving the publicity showcasing the magnificence that is Tim Walz.  Gov. Tim Walz’s administration ensured that menstruation products are provided freely in Minnesota's public school bathrooms.  "This move is crucial for students who might experience their first periods unexpectedly or who cannot afford products at home. According to a 2019 study by Plan International USA, 1 in 5 girls in the U.S. has missed school because of lack of access to menstrual products." Walz also removed the tampon tax in Minnesota, proudly making it one of the few states to acknowledge the absurdity of taxing our essential health products. These are the kinds of actions that prove a politician cares about his or her constituents, and is concerned about the poorest among them.  Bravo! #HarrisWalz2024  https://www.msnbc.com/opinion/msnbc-opinion/...

Ghost Proof Your Home

Halloween is around the corner and October in general is a month when strange happenings occur. I hear many tales of unexplained phenomena such as lights going on and off, knocks on the door when no one is there and sometimes just a "feeling" that someone is watching you. Is there any particular reason that spirits are more active in October? None that I can think of, except that it has been believed to be this way for centuries. However, those who know more about the cosmos, the star alignments and geomagnetic pulls may have some valid reasons why October is the bewitching month. Ghostly superstitions and beliefs exist in all cultures, and today I found a nice image that shows ways to ghost proof your home. The traditions come from many different cultures and are easy to do, except for the Kaballah thing. Click on the image to view it enlarged at the original source. Support Term Limits for Supreme Court Justices

The following is a letter I have sent through automation to write my Representatives encouraging them to support term limits for Supreme Court Justices. Feel free to copy and paste the following letter that I rewrote from the previously formatted letter that will appear in the link provided at the bottom of this article. Or, use their letter. Or, better yet, rewrite it for yourself as I have done.  When you go to the link, your representatives will automatically appear when you enter your address.  This is such a simple way to contact your representatives in Washington, D.C.  Topic - government reform or judicial Letter: Thank you for your service to our country as a representative of the people. Integrity still matters to most people. Unfortunately, we are living in an era where we can no longer depend on one's conscience to dictate or control individual actions. I, and the majority of Americans, have lost faith in the Supreme Court’s ability to act as a neutral arbiter ...
